Libya was known from all antiquity with its commercial activity, that is the transit commerce between Europe in the north and Africa in the south, where the Europeans in the Libyans by exchanging pottery, furniture and old weapons such as armors, swords and spear……….. etc.

In return, the Libyans offered ostrich feathers, wool, leather and wild animals.

Such trade was inhibited since those ancient ages up to date and was developed as well. Libya has got an international commercial reputation due to the importance of its geographical position, its commercial heritage and its natural resources.
